More than just a tank swap
Every GreenGuard USA delivery visit is a full service call. Our technicians do not just drop off a tank. They inspect, clean, and calibrate your entire system.
A full CO₂ tank is connected to your regulator and the empty is removed and taken away. Your trap never stops running. Tank sizing is calibrated to your specific setup and usage pattern.
The technician inspects the trap for proper airflow, fan function, and catch net condition. The catch net is cleaned and reset. Any wear or component issues are flagged and addressed.
CO₂ flow rate is verified and adjusted as needed to maintain optimal trap performance. Proper regulator settings are critical to trap efficacy and CO₂ tank longevity.
BG-Sweetscent attractant (Biogents) or Mosqilure (Mosqitter Grand) is checked and replenished as required. Attractant performance directly affects trap catch rates.
As vegetation, shade patterns, and mosquito activity shift through the season, our technicians note any placement adjustments that would improve performance and discuss with you as needed.
Every visit is logged. Trap performance, tank usage, and any observations are recorded so we can identify patterns and optimize your setup over time.
CO₂ delivery FAQ
Do I need to be home for the delivery? +
No. As long as your trap and empty tank are accessible, our technician can complete the exchange without you present. Most customers leave the area unlocked on delivery day. We notify you when the service is complete.
How long does a CO₂ tank last? +
A Biogents trap running at the lowest recommended setting uses approximately one pound of CO₂ per day. A 20-pound tank lasts roughly 20 days running continuously, or up to 27 days with a timer set to turn off between midnight and 6am. Tank consumption varies by regulator setting and trap model. Our delivery schedule is calibrated to your specific setup.
What if I run out of CO₂ between deliveries? +
We offer next-day emergency refills for customers who run dry between scheduled deliveries. The Mosqitter Grand app will alert you when CO₂ levels are getting low so you can request a top-up in advance. Call or text 512-560-4129 and we will get you sorted quickly.
Can I cancel or pause my delivery service? +
Yes. All GreenGuard USA delivery plans are month-to-month with no contracts. You can pause, modify, or cancel with 48 hours notice before your next scheduled delivery. No cancellation fees.
Does the delivery service work with the Mosqitter Grand? +
Yes. Our CO₂ delivery service supports both Biogents BG-Mosquitaire and Mosqitter Grand traps. The Estate tier is particularly well suited for Mosqitter Grand systems and multi-trap setups. We calibrate the delivery schedule and tank size to your specific trap configuration.
